AlphaSolar sets a new EPC milestone with JDN & Sons Inc.

AlphaSolar, in collaboration with Juan D. Nepomuceno and Sons, Inc., has officially turned over the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) records for multiple solar projects including Nepo Malls and eNtec Buildings. This EPC turnover was officially held on November 11, 2024, at the JDN Board Room, eNtec 1 Bldg, Nepo Quad, Angeles City, setting a new milestone for both companies as they continue their commitment to a bright, greener, and more sustainable future.
The launching event was attended by AlphaSolar Managing Director, Mr. Tito Maglaqui, along with Mr. Gabriel Ian Maglaqui, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO); Engr. Daren Arceo, the company’s EPC Manager; and representatives from the sponsors, including Huawei, Brills, and Trina solar. Additionally, JDN Executives were also present including the JDN President Mr. Rick N. Wilkerson, JDN Chairman Arni N. Valdes, JDN Chief Facilities Management Officer Noel N. Valdes, JDN Vice President/Chief Operating Officer (COO) Aaron Jeffrey Montenegro.
Furthermore, the event highlighted the strong partnership between AlphaSolar and JDN through an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP), showcasing the multiple solar projects, including Nepo Malls, and eNtec, and the continuous collaboration and excellence of both companies.
In a media interview, JDN President Rick N. Wilkerson expressed his gratitude and satisfaction with AlphaSolar stating that the company delivers on effectiveness, reliability, and their excellent after-sales service. In addition, Mr. Wilkerson plans to use the savings generated from solar power for other JDN projects and strongly recommends AlphaSolar to the other business sectors and residentials.

On the other hand, Mr. Tito Maglaqui, the Managing Director of AlphaSolar, expressed his sincere appreciation to JDN & Sons Inc. for their trust and confidence in the company. Moreover, he shared that the company is focused on the environmental benefits of solar energy, as well as the growing data on households transitioning to solar power in the Philippines, particularly in Region 3 and Pampanga.
Throughout the JDN Projects, the societal benefits of the 2.2 MWp is equivalent to 4,056 tons of Carbon dioxide avoided per year, 67,071 tree seedlings grown in 10 years, 861 passenger vehicles taken off roads per year, 74 jobs created during construction, and Php 236 Million import amount of coal avoided in 20 years (Forex = Php 58.48).
